Hi friends, thank you all for visiting my website and @EATeasyvegrecipes youtube channel.
Vinayaka chavithi or Ganesh chathurthi or Vinayaka chathurthi is an auspicious festival celebrated across India and world by Hindus. Lord Ganesh is the son of Lord Shiva and Parvathi mai. He is considered to be as the god for removal of obstacles. His birth is celebrated as the Ganesh Navratri festival and on the full moon day his idols were immersed in water. The festival celebrates Ganesha as the God of New Beginnings and the Remover of Obstacles as well as the god of wisdom and intelligence. First of all we offer puja to him before starting any work or any puja, so that the work or puja would be successful without any obstacles.

Vinayaka chathurthi falls on the fourth day Hindu month of Bhadrapada, normally it occurs between August and September in the Gregorian calendar. At some places the lord Ganesha or Ganapathi idols were placed in public in pandals and they celebrate it for 9 nights or 10 days. We can distribute sweets or any savoury during these days, before that we need offer them to the lord Ganesh. We offer these many varieties of dishes to lord Ganesh on the day of Ganesh chathurthi or Vinayaka Chavithi.
